InvestigateTV+ picked up on our story about the Every Kid Is A Hero Foundation and I got word that it ran in around 25 different cities yesterday. The video shows some highlights of the story. I am hoping the comics we make for these kids will inspire them the way comics have always inspired me.

We got to see some of our heroes today! The Every Kid Is A Hero Foundation presented Sumner County Schools with a check for $12,000 that was raised at this year’s event. The funds will be split among all high school CDC classes to provide extra resources for students.

I disagree with the caption on this. Yes, Superman could have flown over and saved her, but he and Batman are obviously letting Robin look cool and play the hero on this one. Superman and Batman are solid wingmen. Some may even say they are the world’s finest.

Tonight, I introduced the kids to the timeless classic, “The Outsiders.” I have watched this a ton of times since I was a kid. Every time, I notice that issue of Detective Comics 521 from Dec. 1982 on the shelf. Outsiders took place in 1965. Did Dalley time travel?

26 years ago today, I lost my dad to a sudden and unexpected heart attack. Not a day has gone by that I haven’t missed him. He would be amazed at how my/the world has changed since March 29, 1999. I do like to think this is how he went into Heaven to meet Jesus.
