This explains so much

At least we can all laugh while we are dying

Hearing 20 million for NU. Somehow that includes raises for the unionized campuses and no raises for the flagship. Again.

This does not bode well if I can only manage to read one final paper a day. I have 11 more to go and 6 days until grades are due. Of course only 2 until my summer class starts 😭

A case study needs to have a case, she yelled into the void, yet again.

Who should we be in the future? Exactly who we are now

Associate professors, how are we doing this? I have done nothing this year but read other people's work. Student papers, comps, dissertations and proposals, journal articles. I am drowning

I have a full body AERA hangover. Everything hurts and I'm so tired

Has your faculty Senate signed on yet?

www.governing.com/policy/major... I'm sorry but what? I don't know about any of you but it's not an exaggeration to say I use ERIC daily

AERA, I guess. Maybe something normal will be a nice distraction for a few days? Maybe?

If our faculty Senate can do this, yours can too!

And we had students who have had visas revoked. I guess they weren't actually going to completely forget we exist or skip over a state that voted for Trump

How can we all cancel our Denver hotel plans and show up in DC instead. That would be a hell of a thing, 20,000 academics sharing their research for 12 hours a day in front of the White House for five days

High quality early childhood education has the biggest rate of return on any educational investment in a child's life.
