#translife That moment when your GPs office calls because a new nurse looked at your bloodwork results and freaks out. Because they don’t know you’re on gender affirming HRT prescribed by your specialist. Yeah… those testosterone levels would be somewhat alarming, lol. 🏳️‍⚧️💉❤️

Sang with my rainbow choir at a local United Church pride service today and they read this poem. Thought I might share it for anyone who needs to hear this today.

I want to go to there.

I am amused/enraged by the fact that Zerhs (our PC/Loblaws store) is flagging items with prices increased due to tariffs. Coming from folks that have a semi-monopoly on the industry and have been inflating prices, gouging and price fixing for years… that’s some questionable finger pointing, Galen.

Finally carving out space to write again. Slowly working through kids book ideas about neurodivergence, looking at informational/direct ND discussion as well as including ND-coded characters in other stories. What would you want to see for littles in books containing #ADHD #autism #AuDHD ?

On the GO Train, heading into T.O. to get my tattoo finally finished and filled in. Not covering up the past, just replacing what I thought then with what I know now, with who I am now. This is after the first session, can’t wait to have my buddy all coloured in and complete. #stormhorsetattoo

I know some are going to get upset over this but when I see specific people in the news causing such harm to so many people I can’t help but think, ‘what happened to these men to make them capable of such awful things?’ And my heart aches for the vulnerable little boys they once were.

Okay so this one always makes me cry. Thank you @jayhulmepoet.bsky.social

DOGE is like if Fyre Festival was a government agency.

SURPRISE!!

Random info here, but in today’s general hellscape of flaming garbage, turns out some super old-school organizations that are literally, as I understand it, built on tradition and history… are capable of embracing inclusive gender policies. Go Freemasons! Thanks @scottishinsider.org for sharing

For a long time I’ve felt uncomfortable with the idea of responding with violence. I don’t any more. And this song kind of kicks some serious ass.

My goodness. This cover blew me away when it randomly showed up in an app generated playlist.

Every dose of estradiol or progesterone or testosterone, every procedure from surgery to hair removal to vaccination, every choice of presentation from makeup to clothing to grooming, every name, every pronoun, every single act we take to assert who we are is an act of sacred rebellion.

If you’re queer and able to be visible right now, do it. Do it for yourself and for everyone who can’t. The more the world can see us just leading our lives and posing no threat to anyone in doing so, the more obvious and ludicrous the lies about us become. Lead with love and do it loudly. ✊

Ida Wells was born enslaved but refused to live in fear. She wielded the power of the press to expose America’s greatest terror—lynching. When the truth made her a target, she didn’t back down. She co-founded the NAACP, fought for Black women’s voting rights, and left a legacy of resistance!

2001: "I paid $0.99 for this Linkin Park song to be my ringtone." 2025: "I have not had my phone off of vibrate-only for ten years. People who have audible ringtones are psychopaths."

Challenge accepted. NGL I love the bro-y vibes of my new hat from Black Maple Trading, super euphoric with a bit of Canadian-nerd vibes from the old school @cbc logo

Found a not-so-little buddy at 10c while dropping stuff of for Out On The Shelf’s winter pride clothing swap. #guelphpride #ootsguelph
