All that money Bezos spent sucking up to Trump: a million to his inauguration, turned the Washington Post editorial page into MAGA propaganda, and who even knows what else. It all amounts to nothing in the end. Fascists demand 100% loyalty. 99% is as bad as 0% to them. Sad

What I would like to see happen is the courts to say, "since the administration cannot get back anyone sent to El Salvador - as they claim, then the government cannot send anyone else there." I know it doesn't help Garcia, but will help keep millions more from being sent.

My theory of the case is that while Trump appears strong, his strength is based entirely on the perception of being popular. Hence the lies around his tiny popular vote victory. The way to defeat him is to bring down his popularity and pierce his perceived popularity.

FYI for all novice economic bloggers, youtubers, and other commentators: "Animal Spirits" is a direct reference to Keynesian economics as an explanation for recessions. Its been mostly replaced by understanding Money Supply. Keep making fun of MAGA for everything else though.
