TANK vs TESLA "We've crushed fascism before and we'll crush it again" - WW2 veteran Ken, 98, in the tank

@lbc.co.uk @nickferrarilbc.bsky.social ... um..., if you are 'non-domiciled', then you are not based here - so how can you "leave"? Or were you based here all the time, but evading tax?

🧪Hello! are you a scientist who started your PhD in 2020 and are now wrapping up? I want to know how your life is and how you're feeling about your prospects in 2025 for a story in @nature.com. DM me or find me on Signal at aheidt.16. Tell yo friends! (Also seeking international sources.)

Senior UNRWA emergency officer on the genocidal conditions imposed on Gaza rn: “The situation now is so beyond imagination, so beyond words at this point, because people are being starved, basically… children are now starving. People are surviving on one meal a day. People are without medicine.”

@tomswarbrick.bsky.social ... just a normal guy, with a platform that could influence many thousands to make a difference. Think again?

The UK has got to be the only country in the world that is politically held hostage by like 15 newspaper columnists that basically nobody reads

This is a terrible terrible destructive decision. These sorts of long running research programmes take decades to build and their insights accumulate over decades too - the longer they run, the more valuable they become. This is knowledge vandalism. Nothing new and shiny can replace it.

There’s a glitch in the matrix … 🤯🤯🤯

Some personal news: the Department of Homeland Security has given me, an immigration lawyer born in Newton, Massachusetts, seven days to leave the U.S. Does anyone know if you can get Italian citizenship through great-grandparents?

@mrjamesob.bsky.social German car manufacturers would never tell you that line

@tomswarbrick.bsky.social who is this absolute todger ???

What's with these goats living on cliffs. Just go down where it's flat. My god

I’ve got 3 things to say. Posted a card the other day, it cost £1.70 & took 6 days to arrive. Southern water continue to Pollute & say I have to pay 50% more if I want them to stop. Top tax in 1960’s was 97.25% now it’s 45% but a 2% wealth tax is wrong & disabled people need to pay up.

🔑 under-discussed point — why they were on signal:

Would I get startup funds for this? A social-media add-on that shields from the shock & health repercussions of seeing certain faces on your timeline, perhaps imposing a balaclava (configurable obvs). I'd call it something like 'DisGovery', or pehaps 'BinVance', depending on region #venturecapital

If you think Pete Hegseth and the Trump Team shared too much highly classified information with The Atlantic JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY'RE TELLING PUTIN.

I just signed the petition to to demand the Government tax the super rich to rebuild our NHS, schools, and other public services. Will you sign too? you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ta...

Meanwhile Spain carries on with socialist policies & looking after people & redistributing, and whaddya know, it’s economy soars and no-one in the Brit political class talks about it because omg maybe some second homes & wealth would get taxed, no, it’s very sad but we must make difficult choices…🤮

We have lost mainstream media.

Let's get rid of this whiny little bitch. Please sign and share petition below. chng.it/cHG5QsPVBx

Ugh, I’m a better Christian than these people and I’m an atheist.

Polish PM Donald Tusk: “We want to put in place a mechanism for having every adult male trained for event of war by the end of this year.” If you’re not taking the current state of events seriously, you need to start now.

Andrew Neil now.... and exactly four months ago. A great example of the British Right finally catching up. Their primary objective of 'owning the libs' has hit brutal reality.

The US military has removed photos of the B-29 bomber “Enola Gay” — which dropped the first atomic bomb on Japan — apparently because it contains the word “gay,” which violates their new anti-DEI rules.

The value of the 1700+ nuclear weapons Ukraine gave away in 1994 was $2 trillion. Under the USSR, these weapons were aimed at the US. During negotiations, Ukraine offered to give them to America. Instead the US insisted they go to russia. We agreed because we trusted their promise to protect us.

This morning, I watched an entire thread of people arguing that we don't need NOAA or NWS because their phones tell them the weather.

Wow. Sometimes one can still be pleasantly surprised, it turns out.

Elon got this right. According to the AI chatbot called Grok, which was developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI, there is a “75-85% likelihood” that the person who delivered the State of the Union address on Tuesday night is a “Putin-compromised” Russian asset. www.azcentral.com/story/opinio...

A brilliant Banksy.
