I’ve been on movie sets before. Always as an observer or as a producer. Yesterday was my first day as a writer/director. Watching so many talented people working to give life to a fun little idea I had a year ago is an incredible rush. In a weird way, it’s a lot like Nebula itself.

Just did my first tech scout as a director. Basically: go to every location with the crew and answer lighting, camera, and logistics questions. I didn’t even know it was a thing, but now it’s one of my favorite parts of filmmaking. Team-building field trip.
