Remove the street park on Bloor. Rented a car and drove between High Park and Avenue. The lane twists back and forth every block and I was terrified I was going to hit something. Remove the parking, extend turn lanes, straighten out the lanes where possible, and have consistent bike lane designs

Chow needs to deliver some change that people can see. Strong interventions that makes public space better: seating, shade, cooling stations, ice cream, beer gardens, something. The right in 2026 will argue that government is useless and needs to be starved and beaten. Prove them wrong.

The looks I got in LA two weeks ago when I told ppl that I traveled from Inglewood to Burbank via transit (metro, express bus, subway, bus). "Did you get attacked...only homeless people and crackheads take the bus...etc" Public transit: 1hr40m and $5.00. Uber: $95 and 1h15m.

We no longer go to Kensington or into Yorkville because of cars. Both areas should be pedestrianised. Yorkville could be done overnight and manage all parking garage access points.
