So, so many... Running and falling into a pavement and breaking my top front teeth (at age 11) has to be fairly high up there. I also have scars from falling out of a tree (at age 22), trying to open an empty bottle of shower gel to rinse it for recycling, and climbing out of a lake after swimming.

The nave at Hulne Priory, Northumberland. Not sure why it's known as a priory as it was a Carmelite friary, founded in 1240. We were surrounded by martins and swifts, some nesting in crevices in the wall around the buildings.

The Prime Minister imitating Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech is sickening. That speech fuelled decades of racism and division. Echoing it today is a disgrace. It adds to anti-migrant rhetoric that puts lives at risk. Shame on you, Keir Starmer.
