I just saw a Massachusetts license plate driving on the south side of the Butler University campus. Surely that can only be one thing. Brad Stevens has driven to Indianapolis to consult with trusted confidants before accepting the head coaching position for Indiana University men’s basketball.

Took my 4-year-old daughter to her first Pacers game tonight, and it seems like a good time to share this story. She has attended a few other basketball games over the last couple of years. In '23, we went to see the Hoosiers host Caitlin Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes.
