I'll add on a thing I've had to internalise: If something's worth doing, it's worth half-assing. In other words, if a task needs doing, any effort in its direction is a good thing. If you need to clean yourself up, a half-assed job brushing your teeth is better than waiting to do it perfectly.

This book is out. I’ve known it was coming for years, when I first sat down with @deborahbaker.bsky.social to tell her my story. There are parts of it that are for me a bit of a confessional. There are still parts yet untold. All i know of that the story is more relevant today than it’s ever been.
