When you think about it, it is quite incredible that tens of millions of North Americans are all inescapably breathing in smoke from the same fires in the Prairies. It shows how small and interconnected our world is, how we share the same fate. It’s kind of like the solar eclipse… but bad😭

If BYD is serious about building an EV factory in Canada, the government should be actively pursuing it. Chinese EVs will not stay out of North America forever, and Canada should invite them in to build cars here so we don’t lose that opportunity to the US or Mexico.
