One of my basic rules for online interactions: debate with anyone in good faith, debate with nobody in bad faith. Insincere grifters don't get the time of day and there's no intellectual loss involved at my end.

I also hate this cartoon. Edgar Allan Poe, famous hater of subtle symbolism. He wrote The Raven because he was mad at Dickens for putting a talking raven in a book just because he (Dickens) thought it was neat. Poe wanted the raven to mean something to the story!
