Anyone have recs for must dos in Copenhagen? Restaurants?

Assigned to a prison job paying $0.13 per hour, Abron Arrington refused to work, figuring his time could be better spent learning physics. The Colorado DOC punished him with bouts of solitary confinement. boltsmag.org/colorad...

They’re forming a CDC workgroup to decide which line on this graph looks better and their answer may surprise you

Up to 40% of Hepatitis B infections are actually acquired in childhood and kill thousands of Americans per year.

If this is the warning, I’ll take millions more please! We have the whole world here represented, and it’s a glorious, beautiful thing.

This is why traditional political power hoarders hate RCV — it encourages coalitions, doesn’t hate voters, and makes divide and conquer & demonization less effective/attractive. Scorched earth is actually a terrible planet to live on.

From a key Mamdani adviser ❤️

American Academy of Pediatrics Will Continue to Provide Vaccine Schedules for Children Independently of CDC youtu.be/pb2ETtS65W0?...

This policy became effective in June 2025. This is what dictators do:

rfk jr.’s appointees do not understand the basics of the studies they are talking about. they didn’t even bother to study up before this meeting. and now these lazy conspiracists and grifters get to dictate you and your child’s medical care

Spare a thought for Jessica Ramos, who threw out her principles & alliances for a spot in the Cuomo administration, and today got 0.39% and is watching a likely Mamdani primary win.

Hey @motherjones.com: why did you clarify that @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social isn’t a communist but didn’t about being antisemitic or jihadist?!

A Christian Nationalist’s worst nightmare is us getting along. Don’t fall for the lie that we have to hate each other just because they hate us both.

Turns out Zohran didn’t need the heat wave to win, and had it in the bag all along. So I will continue to complain about how it feels like I am standing on the surface of the sun while waiting for the bus.

The only pollster (literally) to get tonight right, PPP, takes a victory lap. And says they “saw Zohran Mamdani’s first place finish coming before anyone else did for one simple reason: we polled the 2025 electorate instead of the 2021 electorate.” www.publicpolicypolling.com/polls/why-pp...

Now that we are heading to a general, will @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social finally start selling merch?

I can't emphasize enough how ugly and pervasive and persistent the "Mamdani hates Jews" campaign was. I'm happy that so many Jews stood strong against that vileness. Maybe people will start to understand that we've had it with being treated as a paranoid, easily manipulated single-issue bloc.

If you ever wonder if the fight is worth it, look at tonight. A billionaire-backed candidate—with every advantage, every insider rooting for him—lost to a campaign built on nothing but people power. The Democratic Party wanted to see him fail, but he won. And we will, too.

Hope and solidarity won tonight, and will win again in November. Congratulations, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social

Underrated in politics: 1. Saying stuff you actually believe whether or not it is the stuff that polls best 2. Not counting on billionaires to buy you a victory with TV ads 3. Spending time campaigning

Today, the people beat dirty money

David Leonhardt apparently wrote the awful Times hit piece *non endorsement* and I wonder how he can "report" on anything related to Zohran from here on out.

After all the corporate money After all the Islamophobia For Zohran to still crush this shit Wow. You really do love to see it Good things are possible!

"GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE"

I wish such great things for this mensch. I can’t wait to vote for him again someday.

Brad Lander has arrived at his election night party. "The ranked choice tabulations will take a few days, but this much is clear: We are sending Andrew Cuomo back to the suburbs," Lander said to applause. "With our help, Zohran Mamdani will be the Democratic nominee"

Can we all give #BradLander a big hand for throwing himself on the tracks in front of the Cuomo train, because it's starting to look like it worked.
