I've gradually learned I have an aspect or trait or whatever that is shared by literally almost no one else. Doesn't matter what it is; the point is it makes me feel painfully isolated and un-"normal" much of the time. And yet I can't recall even once in my life, ever, wishing to be "normal".

Just realized there are 8 films in the Mission Impossible series. Proud that I've not seen even one & probably never will. I know enough to know I'd feel the same as I did about "Wicked"; I kept thinking how they could have made 10 GOOD and LASTING films on such an obscenely huge & wasteful budget.

I've been told that "Almost Famous" was made just for me, a sentiment I accept. Just finished "The Ground Beneath Her Feet", which took me 2 years partly because I didn't want it over, & am basking in the knowledge that Salman Rushdie *also* had me in mind. I am plainly the novel's ideal reader.
