This is nationwide. The USDA is also ending the Emergency Food Assistance Program, which comprises about 20% of what food banks in Maine distribute. As someone who depended on WIC as a kid in rural Maine, and who moved back here to help other people, Trump and Musk's cruelty is infuriating.
