Finished Doom TDA. Loved it, while I can understand some of the discussion online comparing it to Eternal, I do prefer TDA to Eternal. I dont think TDA is the most consistently great of the 3 games (Eternal is, IMO) but I think the highs from TDA are the highest in the trilogy to me.

I still want to give a go to Nightrein, but can't lie but say that I hope these subpar reviews keep From Software in check and they keep the focus on doing what their playerbase asks for: best in class singleplayer games. PS: Not against them experimenting, but 2 mp games in a row is concerning...

How do people describe our game: - "KAVULT" instead of "KULT" - Add dash, double jump. Too slow. - NecroVision but good - "Less like a retro shooter and more like something on idTech 4" @civvie11.bsky.social

KVLT just got covered in @debugmag.com, honored to have our project being around so many cool games in this number . Having grown up when physical media was the status quo, having your work shown like this definitely feels special!

Doing this KVLT internal playtest was such a good idea, I have so much shit to fix and even more to think about after getting loads of feedback and watching playthroughs. Difficulty is an interesting one, as most players want to approach KVLT as run and gun but a lot of the challenge in it...

As someone born and raised in a sea-side city, it's hard to explain how it feels to not live near the sea anymore. Going back to it, even if just a short while, automatically gives me joy.
