Richard Osborne, who starred as a record-setting WR on Lee's 1971 Class 4A state title team, died Wednesday at 71, his brother, John, said. He was All-State in '71 with 86 catches for 1,429 yards & 13 TDs. He played 4 seasons as a TE in the NFL after earning All-SWC honors at Texas A&M in 1975.
