Sigh. (Not at Stephen B.) Every time I see one of these “make them employable!” takes, I wonder “which employer?” There are so many sectors. Which gets to have their skills or area prioritised? Or, bear with me, teach children *how to learn*. Then employers are responsible for their sector.

Every post in this thread shows another scandal in the UK response (lack of) to Covid. But this one gives numbers. 180,000 people. People whose lives could have been saved. Not shocked. Disgusted.
