I take TWO DAYS OFF from my job as a voice agent and this is how I find out the strike has ended

if you think every voice actor is a millionaire, you are not immune to propaganda and would not survive the winter, sorry.

Keep getting hit by waves of tiredness that leave me barely able to move. Genuinely worried about myself.

There’s a genre of autobiography which reads: “It was 1962. I was 24 & had jst purchased my first house in St John’s Wood. Thinking I’d better earn a bit of cash, I wrote to the BBC &was invited to meet the head of drama. The following week I was offered a 13 part series- v reluctantly I might add!”

Started Ghost of Tsushima's DLC because I was assured that if I could survive the crazy enemies there, the 3rd act would hold no fear. Barring one duel (which I entered without any healing resources and died 10 times) it's been a breeze. Its a magnificent DLC though. You can play a flute at cats.

Yesterday my plan for extreme rest was gaming for 13 hours. Today my plan is exactly the same but I'm also ordering a pizza. Still feel like a broken human.

Worth considering that one reason Bluesky doesn't always feel super fun is that current events are relentlessly horrifying and bad

So I had 10 hours sleep and have six days of minimal responsibilities ahead. Let's hope I can magically recover from exhaustion enough to function for another six months in that time. But as I'm barely able to keep my head up to watch TV... I'm not sure I can.

This is incredible

This lawsuit is brutal. One of the exhibits is the letter Universal sent to Midjourney, including a quote from a 2022 Forbes interview that I bet midjourney regrets

Sheep absolutely ruining this for me

That's right. We will make it all #queer, just to spite you.🏳️‍🌈 #HappyPrideMonth #Pride #Horror #monsterkids

Tuesday.

without downloading any new pictures where are you at mentally

That’s not the rule and you know it.

Just got confused about some new game speculation I just saw which was wildly off base. Then I (luckily) remembered that the reason I know the answer that the fandom is speculating over is because of my job, and I am NDA'd up the wazoo about it.

Just a silly edit🤭 Who broke it - Horizon version #HorizonForbiddenWest #Edit #Aloy

Made it with only one minor over-stimulated tantrum (mine), one implication that I don't contact her enough (hers), and an ungodly amount of snacks from B&M (shared).

decided I'm going to start presenting my Taskmaster stats in the manner of an American posting provocative opinions about sports "Hugh Dennis was low key one of the best objective taskers ever but y'all aren't ready for that conversation 🤔🤔🤔"

I have reached entirely new levels of exhaustion. Still have to collect mum, host her all day and take her shopping. Then have to drive to London and back 2 days in a row and then MAYBE I might get to rest for a few days. Still got up early and did laundry and mopped my floors though.

For #Pride month they have officially revealed a design for Mitch's boyfriend in Paranorman. INSANE. I love it. youtu.be/P4UCcm3sqv8?...

“No civil police force could hold out against an irate and resolute population. The trick is not to let them realize that.” - Terry Pratchett, Unseen Academicals

I've been trying to find a dress for a wedding and, let me tell you, EVERY list like this is made up by people who have never been to a wedding in their life.

All the Basic Dad present makers: So we need to show he's a little bit quirky, we thinking Star Wars? Star Wars stuff, yeah? Not anything with any of the heroes of the films - the stormtroopers. The faceless nazi horde. Dads love those.

Ireland, that most literary of countries with the most poetic version of the English language, choosing to ignore all its homegrown brilliance & slop up workaday words-by-numbers as its own face. Choosing to promote itself in a way that undermines one of the very things the world loves about it.

Someone, somewhere is furiously adding subtitles to that Downfall Führerbunker clip.

ANYONE who thinks ANY group should accept fewer human rights than everyone else is totally unfit to serve as an EHRC commissioner.

Some of ya'll can't handle 2 high agency males going at it and it really shows

Remember that tiny violin story about the banker who had to cut down from five holidays a year? The Telegraph has admitted that they were hoaxed, and OH MATE.

Some of y'all can't handle 2 high agency males going at it and it really shows

Some of y'all can't handle 2 high agency males etc

Bluesky right now:

This is like PigGate if a, the yanks were also enjoying PigGate & b, PigGate were happening in real time through the posts of an increasingly blotto SamCam - and SamCam was also somehow the richest person in the world & responsible for innumerable deaths

If you had told me the bitchiest moment of Pride Month would be this...

If you’re overstimulated, please report to the Bluesky cooldown tent where we have orange slices and someone who doesn’t understand the concept of jokes waiting for you

Lol this is like Caligula getting into a fight with his horse

He didn’t like a series of comic misunderstandings and I was Frasier and Niles Crane hosting a fucking elegant black-tie soirée.

what else can you even say

the thing about the Trump and Elon fight is that never before have two people so a) high profile and b) terminally online gotten into a feud like this before this is basically the best thing that's ever happened to very online politics sickos, which describes roughly 97% of this website

Totally normal I had to Google 'stop outlook doing this annoying thing' three times today. And the (ignored) AI result for each query essentially made up answers that didn't exist. Meanwhile pressing reply for an email involves a full on 'where's it moved to now?' search.

There was a paper I read years ago about how fandom labor basically divides into two categories: knowing things and making things. And it was gendered. Men know things about the Thing, women make things based on the Thing.

I think a lot of people don't understand that in a world where everyone uses "AI" to vomit out statistically average text, the ability to use words uniquely becomes a premium skill and a critical differentiator.

Renaming ships at all is guaranteed bad luck. What a way to torpedo morale among the most superstitious branch of the service.
