I made the same point in a KI Reports paper a few years ago: erythropoietin resistance index (ERI) looks like a novel metric, but really, it provides no better risk discrimination than ESA dose itself. Big ESA dose = higher risk of MACE. journals.lww.com/kidney360/ab...
