So it ends up that apple’s board meets on 2/25 and will decide on any dei changes. If they fold, I’m full out of apple. If not, I’ll probably stay where I’m at, partly still apple. but I’ll always hold a big giant “fuck Tim Cook” grudge and will never truly trust apple again.

Why is it so hard to cancel online services? Rhetorical question, dammit. Looking at you Yahoo (need to wait 90 days after canceling premium, which runs until the end of the period), and MS (so many layers if you've ever created an azure account), and Apple (absolute nightmare).

1/20 will be anniversary date for my breakup with big tech. Goodbye apple music and icloud, microsoft azure, yahoo email. Already in the rear view mirror are amazon and google. Feels so damn good.
