I know this hacker on Iron Heart means business because they’re continuously typing while showing a presentation video.

It is a challenging and existential exercise to endeavor to maintain positivity when worst case scenarios keep manifesting. But despair ain't on the fucking menu.

Very proud of @amywiseart.bsky.social displaying her art tonight. Great show all around.

A local Buy Nothing event in Irvine. Getting rid of old shit we don’t need. Maybe picking up some things we would like. Getting to know our neighbors over freshly baked goods. Nobody wants my old video editor’s keyboard.

🧵 I often talk about VDA, Verification, Deliberation, Accountability, as the core functions that make democracy possible. But to understand what’s gone wrong, we need to look at how those functions have changed.

Literally begging you to post about Just Some Stuff. We will see the news I absolutely promise. Twenty people will repost the same exact thing about the news. Only you can post about a turtle you saw

I do not care for the default “Modern” Street Fighter controlling setup. We’ve strayed from God.

Very excited about new digital comics platform Neon Ichiban launching this summer! We've needed this since Comixology got folded into Kindle. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/19/b...

Tickets are still available for my solo show in Hollywood this Sunday, June 22, at 9:30, as well as next Friday, June 27th at 5. 10% of all proceeds go to @ifnotnowmovement.org, which is needed now more than ever. Live streaming will be available for the June 27 show. DM if you have any questions!

When I realize I just replied to a post from 2024.

I guess I should probably be on social media more. Was stoked to see (the sequel to) one of my favorite bands and I GUESS THEY WEREN’T ALLOWED IN THE COUNTRY GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. The FOH literally broke the news to me.

Tustin, CA did a lot better than I would have expected.

Remarkable. MSNC: "I want to reiterate this has been 100% peaceful." Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd. Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

I will vote for anybody within my ability that gets physically restrained or worse trying to confront this fascist bullshit.

The Predator animated movie is Into The Spiderverse-levels of great.

After wearing my old FitBit for one week.

Hello @congressmin.bsky.social! Please walk me through your thought process on why this was a good use of your time and effort. @daveminca.bsky.social

I was a medic at the Santa Ana protests in OC today. I watched police fire tear gas, flash bangs, & rubber bullets into crowds of men, women, & children. Other medics and I were clearly marked with red crosses, and the police were targeting us. One of the most fucked up things I’ve ever seen.

The best part of the show Alone is that it continually proves the point that rugged individualism is a sad, silly myth.

Local cat trying to get to some baby birbs while their dumb muscle friend runs lookout.

The Neighborhood app is like: These people broke the rules. We should have a rule that you’re not allowed to break rules.

I took HBO’s “Which Deadwood Character Are You” quiz. Click here to take the quiz.

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today. I'm so angry.

Once you recognize what's really going on in Gaza, you can try get over the bleakness of the reality, and the rage at the hypocrisy of how it's discussed (or not discussed) within the Jewish community. But that bleakness and rage never really goes away. Patreon link: www.patreon.com/posts/id-rat...

A French film swept Japan in the '50s — and its impact on Japanese animation was immense. Among its fans were Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata and their co-workers at Toei Doga. We explore how they saw it, why they loved it and what they learned: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-french...
