@abcnewsbot.bsky.social @abc7.bsky.social It is a sad day in America because your once highly respected news organization has bent to the will of the current fascist regime by firing Terry Moran. Your leaders are cowards. I will no longer support ABC or your affiliate companies.

Is there a class action lawsuit in the works for the federal government sharing citizens data with Palantir without permission? @schiff.senate.gov www.democracynow.org/2025/6/3/mak...

@barackobama.bsky.social what are Democrats doing to fight the section in Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill that calls for a lack of laws or regulation by states on AI for 10 years? This is dangerous and must be stopped.

@padilla.senate.gov Can you tell us what you are doing about the section in Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill that calls for a lack of laws or regulation by states on AI for 10 years? This is dangerous and must be stopped.

Random thought but we’d get better results if incarcerated prisoners had full psychiatric evaluations and were put on meds, which they were able to continue when released.

There is a gap in the law with 18 being the age of consent, and human brains not being fully developed until 25. So many of the disturbing abuse cases that we hear about involve victims in that age range.

For those who are slow, when the dictator in chief says he wants to send “home grown” folks to El Salvador’s CETCOT death camp he isn’t talking about Chandler and Cody. He’s talking about DeMarcus and Juan. And, don’t think they’ll have trials either. They become criminals when he says they are.

The Kilmar Garcia story is against American ideals of due process. I urge our leaders to call for US citizens to boycott travel to El Salvador. US travelers account for nearly 40% of their tourists. They cannot be a fun surfer destination and hold innocent people in their death camp.

🎯🎯🎯

We were just denied entry into CECOT — the notorious prison in El Salvador where Mr. Abrego Garcia is being illegally held. We were there for one simple reason: to check on his well-being, which his family and lawyers have not been allowed to do. We won’t stop fighting.

I’m about to board my flight to El Salvador, where I hope to meet with senior government officials to discuss the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. I also hope to see Kilmar and check on his condition — and remind him that we won’t stop fighting until he’s home.

Love this for Elon.

This is insightful. She’s a scientist who discovered a society only needs 3.5% of their citizens participating in nonviolent resistance to stop authoritarianism. In the US, that would be 11 million people. 75M voted for Kamala + 3M voted 3rd party. Keep making good trouble. 💪🏾 youtu.be/YJSehRlU34w

There’s a popular idea, supported by research from political scientist Erica Chenoweth, that nonviolent resistance movements only need around 3.5% of a population actively participating to successfully bring about major change (like toppling a dictatorship or ending a deeply entrenched system).
