The thing with this shit reporting from @itsmylondon.bsky.social is that it gets clicks. It stirs nasty emotions in all of us. That's why I'm not including the link. They could try the route of actually providing good trustworthy information, but that requires effort.

🚨Everything Trump has said about the Qatar plane is a LIE. Amazing story in the Post. - Qatar did NOT offer it, Trump requested it - Qatar expected a sale, not a “gift” - US Air Force says it’s in poor condition - $1.5 billion to make it useable - $500 million ADDITIONAL cost for Trump to keep it.

Electing Reform representatives to local councils is a bit like inoculation. Local gov is all about delivery. Hopefully people will soon realise Reform are rubbish and won’t vote them again in general elections. Pity we didn’t get local elections in Wales. I dread next year’s Senedd elections.

Reform’s appeal lies in its ‘anti-establishment’ image, not its xenophobia per se. It’s the result of the political and media elite lying for decades and austerity. Farage can lie because mainstream politicians have lied for decades and have cut public services and let neoliberalism kill work.
