just that period reminder that content posted to Bluesky is public to *anybody*. if you don't want to see it used in a court of law, don't post it here. and DMs here are not E2EE, they can be subpoened. a great use for bsky DMs is to share secure comms and move the conversation there.

Whatever you think of him, Paul Graham is correct about what the data shows. Bluesky drives atproto network adoption, so fixing the retention issue is #1 most important problem to solve for Bluesky and the atproto network. Without high retention you're Sisyphus rolling the boulder up for eternity.
