What is your school planning to do to manage cell phones in 2025-26? What is your policy/plan? What is the enforcement plan? Share specifics here. #classroomsincrisis

Not a brand new computer, but an updated old one. Nothing like having multiple systems fail at the same time!

"That sigh" from experienced teachers hits hard. Because I have been there and done that. And because I am now the admin who sometimes is doing the same thing.

Time to fly. This time at midnight and a good chunk of the way around the world. All to visit a new place and learn some new skills. #educatorslife #classroomsoncrisis

Another lousy night in Pudong, Shanghai

Heading to the Shanghai Fashion Week show today. No idea what I am getting in to. But I am helping to chaperone 15 students. #youonlyliveonce

Given the choice to talk to an aboriginal singer/songwriter/speaker and see an influencer. I will choose the singer songwriter every time.

Leadership can be the loneliest job in the world. Making decisions in isolation, carrying burdens silently, maintaining that confident exterior when you're uncertain inside. Sound familiar? There's a better way. Read more: shaneleaning.beehiiv.com/p/school-lea...

Wrestling with questions about group development. High functioning groups require work. How do we train out middle leaders to bring out the best in their groups? How do we model for them? Questions posed today by Kendall Zoller.

Social media is more sane on this platform than others.

Another lousy morning place for reflection and reading.

Great analogy by @shaneleaning.com

Not a bad morning view for reading and coffee.

Today, as I read social media blowing up about the new president, I have one thought. I have a basketball tournament to help run and school to keep going. There are more important things in life than politics.

Some days are just busy at school. Today was one of those days. #APAC basketball tournament, author visit, second semester started, new students on campus, just to name a few things. It was a good day though. Long, but good. Tomorrow, we do it again with less happening.

Watching your daughter score her first free throw. Priceless.

SISAC JV Basketball tournament at Dulwich Puxi. Great tournament.

Question. Would your #internationalschool hire a morbidly obese teacher? #education
