I can't help but feel Lander could have won if he understood where to put the emphasis in words

I am pleading with people, if you haven't yet listened to Zohran's ode to his grandmother, do it now. It's a fucking bop. youtu.be/iQVsVNPkPmE?...

I can't think of the last time people so vigorously and uniformly rejected a propaganda campaign. I know this is NYC but this may be the death knell for the idea that rabid Zionism and scaremongering is the way to win Jewish voters.

Fuck any other nanis says they better than Praveen

In a just world, Cuomo would be asked in every interview whether he agrees with the Israeli policy of killing Palestinians as they walk up to aid trucks.

I think the Democratic establishment severely underestimates the extent to which the younger half of the electorate would cheerfully send Bill Clinton to Gitmo ourselves

There is nothing redeemable about this country. A few pockets of noble resistance ribboned throughout, people trying to undo the damage it does or at least carve out lives for themselves that don't make them complicit...but on the whole we are violent, venal, dominating, greedy, and thoughtless.

A baby doll is an easy place to hide Iranian sleeper cells. Check inside the pillow case for yellow cake. A child can hide their nuclear weapons that are 2 weeks from being ready to launch behind a picture frame.

Look, I know the term gets overused but I can't think of a deeper level of "cucked" than this

EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Claude Dunce of Georgia, 81, has endorsed Andrew Cuomo for Mayor of New York City. "That's the one guy's kid," Dunce tells me. "And as I recall he has been on television as well, previously. So I would encourage everyone there to fucking get over themselves and let him do whatever."

Please Congressman Clyburn, tell us more. Who should I vote for in the county clerk's race? What should I eat for breakfast? Do you think I need to see a doctor about the growth?

We've reached the "family members who have never visited NYC, don't understand ranked choice, and are just learning about the candidates are sending me advice on how to vote" phase of the election and I am being nice about it.

Have been in the same conversations. The federal funders don't surprise me, and I've had a couple conversations where it was clear they wanted to fund the work, knew what it was, and just wanted to give advice on how to not raise red flags. But the private funders are simply being cowards.

The constant push to externalise and outsource our own experiential realities into easily parsable-quantifiable-as-data is, & will, make it increasingly difficult for individuals to deal with complexity outside of certain approved categories & forms. "What you measure is what you get" and nowt else.

I've said it many times before and Andrew Cuomo is making me say it again: we don't have a cancellation problem. We have never had a cancellation problem. To the contrary, we have a problem that "disgrace" is a very temporary embarrassment— an brief entr'acte more than an intermission.

I'm a prison abolitionist except for Anthony Weiner and Andrew Cuomo.
