Pro-tip: Have everything plugged into surge protectors. Our power went out for about 5 minutes, and when it came back on it surged and broke the thermostat I use to control the temp in my snake cage, and it trying to power on popped the breaker - fortunately I was home and it didn't catch fire. D:
