Fun Fact: Putin’s grandfather was a cook for Lenin and Stalin. Spiridon Putin lived until 1965, and Vladimir Putin was born in 1952, so they overlapped for about 13 years. According to Putin himself, he lived with or near family in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) during Putin’s early childhood.

On this Memorial Day, I remember those who didn’t make it home. Electronic Warfare Proud to have served 22 years in USAF Electronic Warfare team from Tyndall to Tent City Desert Storm, to RC-135 Rivet Joint ops at Offutt. EW was our silent shield. We served in the shadows some never left them.
