Good morning. Don't have pollen sacs at your disposal?? there's more than one way to collect pollen. You can grow a brush on your butt and sweep it up ... you'll have to learn to shimmy though. I think this is Megachile centuncularis.

1. Trump's tax cuts overwhelmingly help the rich 2. His spending cuts are targeted at the poor 3. Tariffs cost the poor a larger share of their income Roll these three regressive policies together and you get the largest redistribution from poor to rich in American history. The anti-Robin Hood.

I'm on my way to the Senate floor to talk about the assault on my colleague, Senator Alex Padilla. This is a horrifying moment in our nation’s history.

Started to list late 1970s leather tap shoes to sell (last used in 1998 doing a singing in the rain act with huge photographic umbrella whilst doing Fine Art in Cardiff, Christmas party thing, someone else sang for me!) & decide to put them back in cupboard for now, after having put them on my feet

Rough sleeping is to be decriminalised in England and Wales after 200 years. Labour will repeal the Vagrancy Act 1824 to ensure rough sleeping is no longer a criminal offence. It comes alongside an extra £233 million in funding for homeless services, taking the total this year to nearly £1 billion.

Pink form of Hedge bindweed, Calystegia sepium in the field margin this evening #WildFlowerHour

Just missed #wildflowerhour again! But this was unexpected this week on a trip to the N Wales coast at Point of Ayr. Big clump of Lilium pyrenaicum (Pyrenean Lily) in the dunes with Stonechat for decoration, as if needed.

What an amazing weekend. We ended up, after a tip off, with 95 Bee Orchids in a very small area. Kent is all I will say for all these great Ophrys characters! #orchis #wildflowerhour #kentnature

A fab #WildFlowerHour, thanks to everyone who shared pix! Lovely to see the below photos from @jillwhitelock.bsky.social showing what can grow when people adopt #NoMowMay - very fitting in the week when @trevorthebotanist.bsky.social (who devised #NoMowMay) published his #UrbanPlants book!

Common Gromwell, Lithospermum officinale, at Hutchinson's Bank in Croydon. Seems to be having a good year there. #Wildflowerhour

Sea Bindweed. Hayling Island, Hampshire. Thousands of flowers across the vegetated dunes behind the shingle. @bsbibotany.bsky.social #wildflowerhour

An amazing #WildflowerHour tonight, lots of orchids and lots of members of the beautiful #PeaFamily AND some gorgeous pics of them both together! Huge thanks to everyone that took part. Hope you all have a good week & keep a lookout for the next challenge! ☺️

My absolute favourite 💙 Mertensia maritima, Oysterplant Such a joy to see this gorgeous plant again this week! Caithness #WildflowerHour

This photo says it all. Russian missiles killed 4 people overnight in Kyiv - including, appallingly, 3 first responders as they tried to rescue civilian victims of earlier attacks. Putin will not stop murdering Ukrainian civilians unless forced. European leaders must act. 🇺🇦
