Something else I’ve been wrong about: Nuance. I really thought larger character limits for microblogging would decrease potential for misunderstandings. It does not, in fact, improve the tenor of the discourse. People who like to get mad about things don’t give a damn about your equivocations.

Important to note that Gov Polis’s first response to the ICE subpoena was to comply. It was only after being sued under the whistleblower statue that Polis backed off. Given the stakes I find this initial move from Polis unforgivable.

Crazily this morning my feed is all good news. A judge has allowed plaintiff sanctions of the government, which is -incredibly- unusual, over Abrego Garcia. The woman who confronted Joni Ernst is running for office. And a sick girl who was to be deported will no longer be. Don’t give up.

A week or two ago I went to bat pretty hard for Hank. I take it all back. Don’t know what this is all about being obvious rage bait or a smarmy in joke or a set up to a YouTube clip where he takes down all the activists going about combating climate change ~the wrong way~.
