Today! My pessimistic side says no one will show up except my childhood bullies, who will laugh at me. My optimistic side says no one will show up but I can visit the cats at the adoption centre, which happens to be directly across from the book store.

This probably speaks to the life I've scraped out for myself almost as much as the general state of autism communities, but I can't help but notice that most of the criticism and shunning I get for not conforming to what other people want from me comes from my fellow autistic people now.

OK, this will be out tomorrow morning. It's about why musicians struggle with health insurance so much, with 7 artists telling their mostly horrific stories about battling doctors and insurers to get decent, humane medical care. There are several gut punches, so be warned.
