Deep Blue is 30 years old and was capable of defeating chess grand champions. It could be housed in a single cabinet. ChatGPT spans untold data centers devouring massive amounts of electricity and it got its ass whipped by an 8 bit gaming console from the 1970s.

This is how. Greta Thunberg spits fire and gives you the only media training you may ever need.

AI losers are so incredibly out of touch. This isn't a proper UV map and it even did a botched wireframe on top. Completely unusable texture with more work than necessary to fix.

This whole situation makes me so angry and helpless at the same time. They are openly doing another evil act and no one cares. I feel like I'm going crazy with all the normalized blatant injustice. They openly block fucking humanitarian aid and the world is like: this is fine, this is normal.

I was really uncomfortable with this as well. And not just because the math doesn’t math. One dev plus nine friends working with him is 10 people… not one. Expedition 33 is a triumph, but it wasn’t made by 30 people. Contractors provided vital labor. This is a dangerous path we’re walking.

no they haven't

Good morning✌️🍀

If you use AI you’re accelerating climate crisis, polluting deprived communities, burning through water, giving bosses excuses to reduce workers rights and wages. It’s a moral and ethical degradation.

🇨🇭Today we inaugurated the European Space Deep-Tech Innovation Centre (ESDI) – the first @esa.int presence in Switzerland. The inauguration of ESDI is a testimonial to ESA’s and Switzerland’s joint commitment to push innovation and drive economic growth. @psich.bsky.social

In recent weeks, video game publishers Take-Two and EA both warned investors about potential "reputational" risks to the use of gen-AI in games. It's a problem that all game companies will soon need to confront: Players hate genAI. This week's column: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...

"best known in recent years for its commitment to mass layoffs"

I block posters and remove AI art. Even "it's just a bit of fun man" No. Not it isn't.

A world historical crime, taking place in full view, with the perpetrators so convinced of their impunity that they can brag about genocidal intent, and it’s hard not to agree with their calculation that no one will stop them and no one will be held accountable

This is fantastic work by @milesklee.bsky.social documenting the way ChatGPT can cause users’ mental health to deteriorate quickly into catastrophic delusions. This technology never should have been released to the public and that was obvious from day 1 www.rollingstone.com/culture/cult...

"AI is coming, its inevitable" no its not you sniveling weirdo. how are those 3D TVs going. how are NFT markets looking these days. Seen anything cool in the metaverse lately? anyone who says we need to resign to using it, that itll be here whether we like it or not, is a feckless dipshit.

sometimes it feels like so much shit is going wrong at once that it's hard to focus on a single thing but i remain steadfast in my hatred of generative AI if AI has a million haters I’m one of them. If AI has 0 haters it means I have left this world. if the world is for AI, I am against the world

Freelancer, here - DO NOT USE AI TO HANDLE YOUR CONTRACTS!!!! I get that they’re dense legal language but LEARN TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THEM so you know what you are signing! DO NOT OUTSOURCE COMPREHENSION.

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but 2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but 3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So 4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

Everytime you face an artistic challenge that seems beyond your skill there are 2 great opportunities: 1. You could give it a shot anyway, and learn something new. 2. You could find someone who has that skill and make them feel appreciated. Both of these will enrich your life. AI will rob you.

Country applauding his 25 hours of speeching about how to do better and the dude just walks off the stage to vote for genocide. Just 15 elected Senators aren't fully pro-genocide, pro-apartheid, pro-gang rape, pro-massacres, pro-human rights violations. Is that just the very best the US can be?

This horrific story has been confirmed to me by a colleague at the same institute as this scientist. The US is not a safe place to run an academic conference. @theguardian.com have an English language version of this story: www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025... 🔭🧪

Western press going "why the ceasefire broke down is complex and multifaceted' you disgraces to journalism and humanity the ceasefire broke down because Israel kept murdering, starved the concentration camp, didn't keep to any agreement, and then straight-up started massacring Gaza again

Lmao Gemini and Grok having a hard time being correct at ALL is just the cherry on the shitcake.

If you haven't switched out of US- & billionaire-ran WhatsApp, I can strongly recommend Signal. Works the same, but doesn't benefit rich assholes. It's a super straight-forward switch. If you're already on Signal, consider making a donation for the cool rocket badge. It's a really cool badge.

Not a single person has yet been able to answer THE question: Why should we expect people to engage with a character that NOBODY EVEN BOTHERED TO MAKE.

There hasn't been a single game in my life where I've thought, "Man I wish could ask this NPC absolutely anything I want and they'd respond." Even if I had, it'd be novel for about 2 minutes. I'll take 50 handcrafted lines from an actual writer than 1 million from a glorified chat bot any day.
