What an amazing evening last night was. Go and see Ocean, take your friends, family, kids. Change is possible and there is hope. To quote the legend that is David Attenborough “if we save the sea we save our world. After a lifetime of filming our planet I’m sure nothing is more important”

⏱️ Just a few hours left to have your say on the Cancer Plan for England 👇🏽 Check out the handy guide below for details on how

A really constructive and motivating day, sharing thoughts and ideas on how by working together, we can catalyse changes within the cancer care system to enhance the long-term well-being of children and young people with cancer,  and their [email protected] @ashleyballgamble.bsky.social

We're hosting a series of workshops to deepen our understanding of the system around CYP with cancer & their families These are open to everyone - in particular YP, practitioners & thought leaders in system thinking 👇 @younglivesvscancer.bsky.social @cclguk.bsky.social @frankfletcher.bsky.social

It’s green shoe day @cclguk.bsky.social annual conference @ashleyballgamble.bsky.social

A very exciting two days ahead, so looking forward to spending time with the 227 people who help young people believe in a brighter future, as we get ready for this summer and our transformational trips.

What mental illnesses are being ‘over diagnosed’ and who by? And what effect is that supposedly having on claims for PIP which uses a functional not diagnostic test? It’s so important that public & political debates about mental health, illness and social security are informed by robust evidence

Yesterday was a very good day, Kalooki is a great edition to our fleet and will help improve the wellbeing of so many young people in recovery from Cancer

How is this person allowed to hold a leadership position in the education of children ?

This is amazing

Good news on #WorldCancerDay: a national cancer plan, a commitment to ensure the needs of CYP are reflected in that plan, and the relaunch of the CYP Cancer Taskforce. Full joint response from @cclguk.bsky.social @younglivesvscancer.bsky.social www.cclg.org.uk/news/joint-y...

Thank you @gemmapeters.bsky.social great to be in person to hear Wes Streeting talk about the consultation of the Cancer plan on #worldcancerday

Been a lot in the news today about the new AI tool Deepseek, we need to start asking more questions and being more curious about letting the Chinese government and the oligarchs in the US control the information available to us

Alright @garminuk.bsky.social it’s been Christmas !

To absent friends To those we have met To those we have yet to meet To those who have left us for a while and to those who have left us forever Let us lift our glasses and drink a toast That they may abide in our hearts forever..... Love to you all x

It’s the Winter Solstice, from tomorrow the days get longer, a good reminder that this too shall pass.

As a country we deserve so much better than this undemocratic system of political favours as the process of how to elect or appoint a second chamber

‘Don’t man up…. Instead ‘…talk, cry, scream’ This is so important & very poignant from @mscaitlinmoran.bsky.social on men taking their ow lives

Why would you tweet this @premierleagu.bsky.social , he needs support and help, for anyone else hurting themselves the Samaritans are there 24 hours a day 365 days a year 116123

A really great listen

This is a must listen👇 As @lewisgoodall.com said, “we need more people in politics like Kim Leadbeater” #AssistedDying

“The Assisted Dying Bill is helping people like me to prepare for the worst”. This week I interviewed Nathaniel Dye, who has raised thousands for charity after being diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer. He campaigned for his MP, Wes Streeting, during the election, but disagrees on assisted dying.

Great to be at Trust impacts “The Future of Social Impact: Shaping Tomorrow”. My favourite quote of the morning “we need AI to work for 8 billion people not 8 billionaires”
