While I'm working, I usually have Twitch up and have a friend's stream on in the background for some noise and light entertainment (not to mention helping support their channel). However, I've noticed something happening more often in streamer's chats and it's bugging me. Trauma dumping.

I'm so tired. I don't know how some of you are able to function on minimal or no sleep. I got 5.5 hours of sleep last night and I'm struggling to function. My stomach is also upset too, which usually happens when I don't get enough sleep.

I'm so sad to hear that Anne Burrell passed away. She was legit one of my favorite chefs on the Food Network. She was young, too ... Only 55. It just makes me more aware of my own age and mortality.

Next couple weeks are going to be exhausting, but hopefully rewarding. Aside from my usual work and home duties, I am going to be attending extra karate classes to prepare me for my brown belt test in Vegas. I've got about 2.5 weeks left. This week alone, I've got 5 sessions. It'll be worth it.

Rough night at karate tonight. Sensei said I looked a little out of it and I ended up sitting out for a good chunk of the class due to fatigue. I'm afraid something isn't right and it's starting to affect my physical and mental state.

Hitting the ground running at work today. It's a bit of a mess, but it's not too crazy. Just enough to keep my busy. It's going to be an interesting day, though. All of our sworn staff are in uniform because of the county-wide tactical alert. If things go to shit, the office will empty out.
