I’m truly surprised how provincial my fellow Americans are regarding USAID. Ignorance with US government programs of goodwill is on you. Barbados, for example, is at risk of a tsunami if there is an earthquake. While perhaps silly to some, easy to understand signs like this are there to help people.

Portofino tonight is just doing his thing. He loathes smart devices & is a typical cattle dog - meaning if he’s not working hard he’s a Velcro dog. Needs close contact to owners. If you live in Chicago and are not outside - why? It’s damn nice out with 50+ degrees. We’re doing nosework in an industrial part of the city. The brick building was a brewery with Sipi Metals Corp (since 1905 & still active) next door.
