Please let the legacy of the great #davidlynch be the space for weird and wild. We need those voices more than ever.

Worth knowing: 1. You can’t claim VAT on Uber rides. I do Hood’s VAT so I got into this. In 2022 it was decided that Uber are liable to pay VAT but they operate under a scheme that means VAT isn’t charged to the end consumer. 2. Buscopan is AMAZING for treating period pain. You’re welcome.

I’m celebrating the cold. This week Dinsky and I wore our matching Charlie Brown jumpers. Tomorrow we’re going Danny Torrance from The Shining. My epic mum knits these epic gems!

“If anything seemed solid in a melting and mutable world, surely it was the great big outer planets of the solar system,” Adam Gopnik writes. But news has leaked out that Saturn’s beautiful rings are vanishing.

Excellent Mike Silva show at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. Great view too.

Hat lovers, milliners, makers and crafters… were opening our Kentish Town studio doors for a sample and studio clear-out sale. 16th & 17th January. All welcome.

Someone people are not content with being kind, creative and full of joy, they insist on sharing it about! Yesterday, under the cover of darkness, my mama put out this year’s postbox topper.

Magic is in the detail! Love this gem by #emilygravett and so happy to get my paws on a signed copy at Queen’s Park Books.

A sweet goodbye to Jennifer Croxton today. 6ft of love and “rage!” She would have enjoyed all the compliments and she would have laughed to hear the various versions of “we had our up and downs..” #jennifercroxton

My sister @bec_the bookworm is on it and I love it! #tarawestover #sophiesnderson 📚❤️

I read the brilliant #tedchiang story UNDERSTAND. I keep thinking about it and the wonder of words and language. It tripped me to thinking of all the tongues we don’t understand – obsolete languages as well of those of animals, insects, trees and more. I also really hate the word ‘manifest’.

Today I followed someone with a pram into Pret not realising that someone else was holding the door open for them. On seeing the door-holding-person was a woman with lots of bags, I tried to hold the door open for her in return. But she said, “After you…” so I walked back out of Pret.

My moodboard.

Such a beautiful film. The original Japanese title “komorebi”, means “sunlight leaking through trees and there’s an excellent reference to Patricia Highsmith’s short story ‘Terrapin’ from her brilliant collection ‘Eleven’.

On Thursday, Adele and I will be at the HOOD London pop-up at Vicki Sarge with our current collection as well as some exclusive pieces. We hope to see you there 🌙
