Cowboy Resumés ( SIDE NOTE: in 27 years of cartooning, this is the *first* time I’ve ever used the Oliphant/Tim Toles structure of the tiny people embedded at the bottom of the larger comic — it’s a fun way to do it! )

Happy Moonshae Monday (if a few days late). The Rising Shadows MOON3 Trilogy bundle is now up on the DMs Guild. Take a break from the heat and go explore the mountains and the Deepshaes! www.dmsguild.com/product/5272...

Ice skating lessons with the kiddo are a perfect way to avoid the summer heat.

My New Year's resolution was to learn how to play the harp. My wife found this beauty and bought it used. Five months of practice later....

This weekend's DnD game involved a wild magic carpet ride around a waterspout that was flinging weresharks at the heroes.

Origins is this weekend. Two DnD adventures I wrote are running there. GenCon is coming soon. I have two DnD adventures I wrote running there. I hope everyone who plays these events enjoys them! I had so much fun putting them together for us to share!

It was a Moonshae Monday yesterday! Rising Shadows Trilogy 2: Howling Lament is now up on the DM's Guild. Pick it up and get three adventures at a discount! If you already have one of the series, it's a great way to fill in your collection. www.dmsguild.com/product/5265...

From Secrets of the Lamp by @wolfgangbaur.bsky.social. This text entertained me greatly. The Rule of the Amused DM is real!

I'm progressing really well on Loch Lomond with my harp. The lower octave line feels so good on this Troubadour harp. I love it. I might do Misty Mountains Cold next just so I can stay in the low octaves for a full song.

Greensleeves mastered (mostly). It's off to the next song. Loch Lomond!

Last night I helped out with the local gaming club’s Learn to DM workshop. It was a smashing success! DMs are the backbone of this hobby. More DMs means more games!

I wrapped up one of my home games just in time. Two of my players are moving away this summer. So I hosted a cook out in the backyard with all my gaming friends in their honor. There were toasts and stories aplenty. It's how a campaign should end. It's sadly all too rare.

The recruitment sign by our local volunteer fire department is top notch.

The cleric tonight, "You know how I check for traps?" *slaps hand on chest* "Cure Wounds!"

My beloved Moonshae campaign is going to be available on the DMs Guild in bundle form. The first bundle is now available, and it's a bargain!

Chivalric knights, idyllic Hommlet, and a wicked temple. This is going to be so much fun!

My beautiful boy!

I started learning to play the harp in January (the harp was my Christmas present). After a few months of diligent practice, I'm moving to the mid-beginner tier of harp music. I leveled up! Greensleeves awaits! It's just to 2nd level. I'm still very much a tier 1 harpist.

What kind of DM are you? The more we realize the kind of DM we are, the easier it is to identify the type of campaign we want to run! www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cZy... #DnD #ttrpg

My daughter showed me how to use karaoke mode on Apple Music. She uses it to dance and sing, but I saw DnD gaming utility. Switch on karaoke mode, slide the voice volume all the way down to nothing, and so many songs are now a soundtrack for your D&D games!

I opened up the windows to let the spring breeze blow through, and the neighbor decides today is an excellent day to woodchip a tree.

Oh, that's right. It's "Don't believe anything you read on the Internet day."

This past weekend was my birthday, and I spent it fighting dragons in my imagination! But I was the DM so I was said dragon, and I'm sad to report that the party slew my dragon with only a single death. The death was my wife's character. Bwahahaha! Don't worry; they raised her.

All 10 Teaser pages for the Promise of Blossoms are now up on the Moonshae's website. They're so beautiful! moonshaes.com/comic/archive

Promise of Blossoms Teaser #10! A fair prince is trapped in a reverie, and he needs a valiant princess to wake him up. How else would story about a fairy tale wedding in the Moonshaes end?

Teaser #11 for the Promise of Blossoms! The wedding day is almost here. Excitement in the air, but Lady Siofra of the Sarifal Fey has her doubts about the sincerity of this union.

Promise of Blossoms Teaser #10! The Kendrick Vault isn't quite as secure as they might hope, especially against the.... Shadow Thieves! dun Dun DUN!

I've noticed that. Do they even have that many games to cancel? Are they announcing games just so they can cancel them later?

My DnD adventure "A Village Named Hommlet" previewed at MagicCon Chicago this past weekend. I'm hearing from the DMs that they had a lot of fun with it, especially with all the NPCs. Behold the cast!

I ran my Legends of Greyhawk adventure “A Village Named Hommlet” twice at Magic Con. It’s so much fun. A “Who Dun It” set in the inn of the fabled village of Greyhawk! Every table solves it a little differently.

For the home game, I’ve gotten in the habit of writing out notecards for treasure. This way players know what they’ve found. Trading card sleeves are great for organizing them. The colors have meaning. Pink is attuned magic, blue unattuned, green is money, white is consumable.

Two weeks ago, I was at Winter Fantasy running my Moonshae premiere. Now I'm packing for Magic Con Chicago to run my Legends of Greyhawk premiere. February is a busy month full of DnD adventure!

2025 Monster Manual - Major Takeaways! My main impressions, looking at stat block simplifications, spell list and monster type adjustments, legendary actions, and so much more. See examples and learn what works and where the design falls short. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMHX... #DnD #TTRPG

Last night's DnD game featured a flying carpet assault against an undead-crewed galley with mangonels flinging zombies at the attacking heroes! It all ended with the paladin leaping from the carpet to smite the necromancer captain. Great times!
