Even if the OG translation was probably "kusoge," doesn't change the fact that sometimes a boring game is exactly what your brain craves/needs sometimes.

Here's your fascinating gaming history fact of the day. Apparently the original release of Deltarune would delete the entire folder it was kept in if you ran the Uninstaller. Absolutely wild.

We have been made to be constantly exhausted, and then we have been given more bread and circuses than we've ever had in all of human history. In unrelated news, our next piece is a brief history and the general standing of games media and how mediocre men in suits are trying to ruin it. Enjoy.

This is an astounding write-up. This deserves your attention. What an incredible thing games do for us and we do for ourselves.

The new Kingdom Hearts screenshots are such a nothing story and it makes me so sad that's is what "needs" to be covered to get views/clicks etc. It's a truly depressing time for general corpo games media. We're not the answer, but individual writers, and those hired *are*. Follow writers you like.

Hoarders against digitally archiving carts are worse than scalpers. These carts should be in public archives at the Video Game Preservation Museum.

Working on a piece about the beauty of "background games" for adhd kids who got in trouble for doodling in class. What's your go-to game to play while you c.o.n.s.u.m.e other (more) nourishing media? What constitutes a good background game in your book? What level of comfort do you look for, if any?

Including large format images in your kit with and without logos is like, so wildly clutch.

Grant Stoner back at it with the kind of journalism that shapes an industry. Everyone who came forward did so with incredible bravery; the kind of bravery that will make a difference in so many people's lives going forward.

Support what you can, and avoid attacking journalists for utilizing any foothold they can find to write and speak about this medium. I follow Remap diligently, that doesn't mean I don't still read "Zombie Waypoint." Y'all are being silly. Support journalism. Full stop.

Just a reminder that this was a bit. No outsourcing was harmed in the making of this editorial.

We're sobbing over here!

Supporting independent journalism is important. Supporting worker owned, intersectional feminist independent journalism is *beyond crucial*.

This article is peak, and a must read for anyone #actuallyautistic playing Clair Obscur.

These two are making the most important historical video games podcast out there. Absolutely fascinating and entertaining work. If you read video game rags in the '90s and '00s, you owe it to yourself to give a listen. Perfect score, no notes.

"I sat in silence for more than a moment. I didn't even read the credits. I cried a little. I swear to you I broke the fuck down... Many Nights a Whisper gave that magic back to me." Thank you to @deconstructeam.bsky.social and @selkieharbour.bsky.social

Welcome to all the folx who followed us this weekend! We're so glad you found us. gAmeDHD is a little lo-fi independent publication writing about video games and games media through the lens of - and about - the neurodivergent perspective. Feel free to message us with questions or submissions. ♡♡♡

I'm still fully capable of getting lost, though. ADHD can make you lack a sense of permanence in place because your brain will actively dump the information it was storing for navigation the second something else (read:combat) takes your attention away. Same goes when entering/leaving somewhere irl.

The corporate ghouls will fall flat on their face in failure right in front of the people they've fucked over. I have faith in the journalists and creators, not the out of touch vultures in suits.
