i’m working from home today and usually my guide dog spends the day on her bed in my office. except today she cannot figure out how to deal with her need to be physically right next to me and how that’s also causing her to be too warm. it would be funny if she wasn’t being so annoying about it.

i had whooping cough when i was four (and yes i was vaccinated). i was sick for literally the entire year of pre-K. and as bad as the hours long coughing fits, the treatments were almost the worst part - awful tasting medicines and WEEKLY shots!
