Added more new @outseta.com customers today than any day in our 8+ year history!

The nomads started out as couchsurfers and ended up complaining about luxury hotels and $10,000 mattresses on Twitter. 😆 🛋️ ✈️

Hear that folks? The ChatGPT says Outseta is the "ideal platform to manage authentication, subscriptions, and CRM in an integrated way." Must be true. Bow to the ChatGPT. You have been enlightened. 🪷

I'm excited to share that @outseta.com's trial-to-customer conversion rate was 61.10% in 2024. And we've improved it to 61.22% in 2025. This was a full team effort!

Sorry, but @outseta.com we're not "just getting started." We've pushed updates to our software nearly everyday for 8+ years. And that's actually why you should use us.

Greek life, for me, easily wins.

Talking about playing the long game @outseta.com with the one and only, @arvidkahl.bsky.social. tbf.fm/episodes/333...

I've been learning as much as possible about "optimizing for getting found in AI tools." My only major takeaway is it's not about how to get AI tools to crawl your content. It's more about the transition from "search terms" to "search conversations" + how you can better optimize for that shift.

I was told @outseta.com was "dead" when Stripe launched Stripe Billing. When Webflow launched memberships. When Circle launched paywalls. When vibe coding took off. The reality? Each only accelerated our growth. Big competitors drive awareness, expand the market—and pay for it.

The @outseta.com package for @laravel.com via @jonfackrell.bsky.social. -Outseta handles sign up + login -Users are created in Outseta + your Laravel app -Full access to Laravel authorization, middleware, + policies -You get CRM, email, + help desk tools too! www.youtube.com/watch?v=el3T...

ChatGPT has 2x'ed @outseta.com's growth rate. It took me a while to understand why. While you do many of the same things to optimize for "SEO" and "AI Search" they are different animals. "Search conversations" are different from "search queries." www.geoffsmarketingexperiments.com/experiments/...

"I think no pleasure exists that plunges a person's heart into Paradise more that the joy of cutting across the Aegean Sea on a gentle autumn day, murmuring the name of each island. Nowhere else are you transported from truth to dream with such serenity and ease." -Zorba The Greek

The message of White Lotus, Season 3 (as I interpreted it)... Good things sometimes happen to bad people. Bad things sometimes happen to good people. And whether your luck is good or bad, so much of it is circumstantial and has little to do with you. Also, people by-and-large hate this message.

I think we've gone too far with the narrative + attempts at pattern patching the idea that great CEOs need to be crazy / obsessive / autistic / etc. Most of the hyper successful CEOs I know are smart, hardworking, + consistent. The vast majority are pretty thoughtful + emotionally intelligent, too.

One of the best "future of marketing" focused discussion I've heard in a long time—really enjoyed this one. We've been making the types of "blind" investments they speak about @outseta.com for 8+ years now—and it's being "realized" more than ever before just now.

What's your hometown? And how do you feel about it?

The tech innovation that's had the most incredible impact on my life? LASIK surgery. The startup that's enriched my life most? Airbnb. 🤷‍♂️

Working on the first A/B test of the @outseta.com home page that we've run in a while. We're going to test a longform, written variant. It will force the user to read. Most won't, but those that do will be very clear on if Outseta fits their needs.

At the end of the day if I miss a few opportunities because I didn't "sell" harder, I can live with that. I would rather default to earning trust with people quickly by being just a very straight shooter.

Working on a model to show new hires how their ownership stake in @outseta.com will grow. Ownership half way through 2025: Dave Wong (30.89%) Dimitris Georgakopoulos (24.35%) Geoff Roberts (20.94%) Bernard Chen (16.81%) James Lavine (4.59%) Benedicte Raae (2.41%) Now the interesting part...

This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. To be clear wannabe tough guys: 1) Traumatized the staff 2) Hurt a small business financially 3) Didn't find what the were looking for 4) Threw flashbangs in the street of a neighborhood 'Murica! 🇺🇸 timesofsandiego.com/crime/2025/0...

Fuck "Founder Mode." What if you went "Life Mode?" Really went all-in on leading the most fulfilling life that you possibly can. Put your own unique stamp on it. Did it in a way that's uniquely your own. ... What if?

It's awesome when you meet people who inspire you not because of their achievements, but because of who they are as people.

When I lived abroad in 2018, people timidly asked me about Trump. Discussion ensued. In 2025, no one is timid anymore. And the follow up question has been almost unanimously: "How is it possible that so many Americans don't realize that he's nothing more than a conman?"

A huge thank you + shout out to @marcelfahle.net for opening his life, city, + family to mine the past few days. Marcel is the type of person who makes you feel good about both the world + life. Rooting for all his entrepreneurial ventures + adventures going forward. The 🌎 needs more Marcels!

Doing this today to see what all this Denia fuss is about.

Looking back at everything that's happening in the US right now... It's just so utterly stupid and sad.

Increasingly of the belief: The entire narrative about AI leveling the playing field + "anyone can build anything" will in reality completely backfire. The proliferation of crappy software will be so severe that the competent tech teams that build deliberately + think long term will win even more.

One of the easiest ways to be humbled: Go to a place where everyone speaks the same language but you.

We have an entirely new class of support tickets @outseta.com that I just call "ChatGPT catastrophe." You can see it a mile away and it's generally just code modifications that don't even begin to make sense.

I am gutted as most founders are when people tell me our product sucks. But I'm way more gutted when I have to tell someone I really wanted to work with that we're hiring someone else.

Exploring Asturias, Spain this weekend. 🇪🇸

Something I've learned... A TON of people are willing to try out a bunch of business ideas + if one happens to "hit", then great! They are a successful entrepreneur. Almost no one is willing to pick an idea that they know can work—then just commit to it until it does. Neither is right or wrong.
