Cassocks are red Conclaves are dope Wake up babe we got a

I can't believe we have a Pope from Illinois. People from Chicago usually hate the Cardinals.

Habeamus papam.

Also it’s pronounced with three syllables: “BREEV-uh-ree.”

NEW: The Abrego Garcia case has been DELAYED. AGAIN. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/abrego-gar...

You adapted to survive, and that was brave. But now you’re allowed to want more than survival. You’re allowed to want joy.

I like telling authoritarians where to shove it in multiple languages

all truth is profound

By thunder, men, we must do something or go for it.

I check the little screen, I check the big screen, I check the watch screen, I check the tablet screen. I check the screen that reminds me of the good times, I check the screen that reminds me of the better times.

A plea. Misgendering unfortunately happens. I've done it. You might. "OH, crap, sorry" and moving on with proper pronouns is INFINETELY preferable to making your embarrassment my problem to assuage by apologizing 700 times. Be cool, my babies. Be cool. If I can let it go, you need to, too.

There's only one person who's allowed to enter someone's home without a warrant, and that is Santa.

Strange!

You can’t say criminals don’t deserve due process when due process is the thing that decides if they're criminals. Otherwise you're just kidnapping people you don't like.

Celebrating @corybooker.com ‘s birthday the same way I always do—by being 27 years cancer free.

We have a downstairs bathroom. Yes, you can use it. Love + solidarity x

Terrifying what they are setting up by going after judges. The whole democracy is at stake, all of it. I don’t think we could come back from this.

I miss Wisco at some of the weirdest times

Today we honor the flippered citizens of our icy nation. Whether you celebrate whilst eating a democracy sausage in Oz, doomscrolling in America, pulling maple taps in Canada, or elsewhere, we appreciate the support! #worldpenguinday

Keep speaking up, speaking out, pushing back. The administration has had a bad week because of it.

In the wake of what Judge Dugan did (100% legal), now is a good time for everyone to know what she knows: An immigration or administrative warrant is *not* a judicial warrant. You are not obliged to obey it. Indeed, you can let the person out the back door. docs.google.com/presentation...

A good starting point for reporters, headline writers, and readers is to not take for granted the government's initial claims. Because they are probably not true.

It seems like the federal government wanted to commandeer the judge into doing their law enforcement work, which they cannot do as a constitutional matter. Refusing to assist the federal government is not the same as actively impeding law enforcement. This is highly suspect behavior from the feds.

When @govevers.wisconsin.gov gets mad, look out

Democratic members of Congress should probably be made to understand that unless they throw everything they have at this, they are next.

so, arresting judges should be more than enough reason for complete obstruction at in the house and senate. complete obstruction. anything you can do. interrupt proceedings, deny consent, holds on nominations. everything.

Even Moby-Dick is subtweeting you

If you won't argue for the unconditional human rights of the worst person imaginable, then you don't actually believe in the concept.
