Every non-vegan meal we eat means an animal is unnecessarily slaughtered. Five minutes of taste for us costs them their entire life. To us, our food choices may seem insignificant, but they are life or death for animals.

A very challenging rescue this afternoon, for a swan which had been observed tethered by fishing line to a floating pontoon. As the animal was out of reach in deeper waters, the use of one of our rescue boats was required.
