When I was a kid the US was acting like it was terrified of communism. Opposite to now when the same communist is running Russia. The difference is US oligarchs were scared communism would take what they own. Now they are aligned with the Russian oligarchs so Russia is good now I guess

Found out this morning about one of these layoff rounds at a major publisher, one of these ones where word goes out that if you’re axed you’ll be getting an email at x time etc. (sounds fun clickingvrefresh) still amazing to me how commonplace this has become.
