From development environments, to CI/CD pipelines, to product environments, Nix has completely transformed the way I build, test, and deploy software for my clients. It feels like a workforce multiplier, there's no way I'd be able to wear as many hats as I do without it.

Of all of the Svelte/Sveltekit features we got during the Advent of Svelte, this one is by far my favorite 🤭

I have a couple legacy projects for clients that I migrated from Sapper that use websockets. Right now I have to wrap the whole project with a websocket injector that lives outside of SK. This will be a huge help.

I usually hate vague "big things in the works" type hype posts, but I just can't contain myself. I poured the last year into getting this platform going and the last 3 months using it with our first client. My hope is to spill the beans this Friday!

Looks like Google is down, I feel sorry for the on call team right now 😭

This is huge! I made a utils generator function called forIter() that works functionally the same as python's range(), now it's rendered mostly obsolete!

I'm so excited about this project we're just on the brink of completing for a client, I wish I could share more details. I'll definitley be gushing about it here the moment it goes live. Spoiler: It's yet another #SvelteKit + #Directus banger!

One thing I miss from GNOME that I don't have an equivilant for in Sway is the SUPER + R to bring up a run dialog to fire off a singular command. Sure, I can open a terminal, but sometimes it's nice to fire off a singular command in a dialog. Any Sway users have suggestions?

I've largely replaced Node with Bun for most of my js projects, but increasingly Deno is catching my attention. Deno bench specifically, having a built in tool to quickly test performance tradeoffs could be really useful. Anyone switching from Bun to Deno? Would love to hear your experiences.
