Got my shirt from @2legit2crit.com and @atlasursa.bsky.social! If you are not listening to this show… what are you doing? It’s like chatting with friends about TTRPGS. My daughter said I look great in blue as well, so bonus.

The only level of success I truly care about is writing something that someone likes enough to make art.

Look, all I want to is sit down and talk to you for 40 hours about this game I’m working on. Don’t ask me how work is… also, sorry, I would never do that to you. Work is fine…

At some point, I really need to stop going over and changing things I have done in this damn game and work on stuff I haven’t touched… but I guess spells are important.

I think I cracked the code on our spell casting system. Also much easier to pick spells and keep flexibility, while cutting the list down.

Prepping for a series finale where we have been playing D&D. The final fight will take us through different dimensions and combat will be different in each one. I am going to use the Dread game in one, the game I’m developing in another, and I need ONE more fun and easy to pick up system. #ttrpg 1/2

Thinking about my upcoming series finale with a D&D campaign. It’s crazy to think how this game unlocked something in me. It didn’t save my life, my life wasn’t at risk, but it saved my self worth in a lot of ways. As a whole we had to cancel a lot of what was planned…

Me: Whoa! A software that helps format (not AI) how to write a graphic novel? I could finally bring my story idea to life!!! Me 10 minutes later: Well… I still don’t know how to WRITE an f’n graphic novel…

Our second to last recording for my dnd campaign tonight. After this we schedule our finale party and say goodbye to 10+ years with these characters. We have no listeners which probably for the best, but writing this campaign truly saved my life. Sad to see it go, excited for what’s next. #ttrpg

LA Philharmonic stage kicks ass

Goals for GMs in the game I’m developing: 1. Most of the rules are common sense. If you guess in the moment, it will most likely be by the book. 2. Less prep time. The stuff is there, but leaving enough space to create your own thing. 3. Open world with simple story navigation.

Goals I had for Players in the game I am making: 1. Players written backstory translates to mechanics in game. 2. Players control their development more through gameplay and decisions. 3. Make roleplaying more approachable for those who struggle with that aspect. 4. Make the game play adaptable

I have been contemplating making videos with thoughts and tracking development of my ttrpg game. Like a video diary and explaining the thought behind everything. I get stuck motivationally because I don’t have many to talk to about it so maybe doing this and speaking things out loud would lessen it.

Alot of people (for me) just started following me. Word to the wise. I am boring and will not clog up your feed. I support people at all levels who are doing something they enjoy. Love K-pop. I like telling stories and want to be a writer. I am working on a book and a TTRPG that is pretty awesome.

I don’t draw, there’s only a couple I’ve done I have been happy with. But I’ve had this story that’s been nagging at me that I may have to write, but I couldn’t ever visualize how I wanted it to look. I finally landed on something that felt right. This cute little Fox! I’m sorry for what’s next, bud

A friend asked my opinion on a car they like. I can point out cars vs trucks vs SUVs. Sedan? I’m not confident. Seems made up. What have I created this aura of vehicle ignorance for if it will just be ignored… though I do have strong feelings about T*SLA. Negative ones to be clear.

I have a lot of art on my timeline, but I was hoping I could find fantasy landscape or city art from amazing artists? Any style. I have a project in the future and I have been building a catalog of fantastic artists to go through when we are ready.

#TheMonkey was so fun. Some wild scenes in that one.
