Spot on. This is the clearest explanation I’ve seen. It ‘s relatable, and humanizes the issue in a way everyone can understand.

Yesterday, I met with a 12 year old boy in Oxnard, CA. His mom and dad have been fieldworkers for over 20 years. ICE agents snatched his parents from the fields and left this boy alone with no clue when he’ll see them again. A 6th grader.

Tried Uber Eats this evening. 45 mins later, thought I’d better check what’s going on … to find a message to say the courier can’t complete the order and I’ll be refunded within 10 working days. Oh, and do you want to re-order? No, Uber Eats. I do very much not want to re-fucking order.
