Across multiple platforms I've now seen videos on how glass shards from glass ampules are prevented from being injected in your body - which is legit a thing I've never worried about. Theres a recurring bit in the West Wing where the speechwriters won’t staff out writing assignments. Only the holy trinity of Toby/Sam/Will can do the work when it matters. Funnily, the story is Sorkin got fired-quit after S4 bc he refused to staff out writing and it made production unworkable.

A year ago I had surgery to remove a tumor, discovered incidentally, that turned out to be kidney cancer. A year post surgery I’m fine, the kidney is fine and it’s something we can joke about on our pod. I am very grateful and also maybe get that preventative scan you’ve put off.
