We abruptly lost Amy today and I am torn up but she didn’t do half bad for a bunny abandoned in Tacony Creek Park that weaseled her way into a home where she roamed freely and terrorized the various cats & dogs that she lived with throughout the years. Heaven just gained an absolute menace ❤️💔

Today is a really good time for this reminder: Fighting fascism is exhausting, at best. A core tenet of fascism is making life miserable for nonfascsists. It is ok but also IMPERATIVE that you take the time to do something that brings you joy. It’s not selfish. It is self-preservation.

Saw an interview with the drummer of Fugazi Brendan Canty where he’s fully middle age dad and the first thing he says is that he chose a neighborhood with alot of ambient noise so his drumming wouldn’t be inconsiderate to his neighbors. The most polite hardcore band there is.
