Gonna visit Blanchard Springs Caverns for the first time in over a decade this summer. That place is where my sense of wonder still lives.

Oh, fuck off RTD. Fuck right off.

Two of my all-time favs right there.

More like Meh-ssion Impossible.

Gotta split the aggressive stuff and the pretty stuff. For aggressive, it’s either Wish or Survivalism. For the pretty stuff it’s between The Great Below and Right Where It Belongs.

Just finished Andor. Had been holding off for some reason. Gonna miss caring about Star Wars like this. Somebody please let Tony Gilroy do literally whatever he wants.

This season of Doctor Who has been so unbelievably depressing.

Why the hell haven’t I listened to Somewhere in the Between by Streetlight Manifesto in like half a decade at least? This thing is as vital as it was when it came out. Maybe more so.

Spider-Man 2099 got me into comics as a kid. Was lucky enough to meet him at a couple of Star Trek cons as a teen and he was lovely.

Not…quite sure what y’all were seeing in Final Destination Bloodline but I’m glad you had fun at least.

Box Lunch, you gotta explain this one. I’m so confused right now. Tempted to buy it for the bootleg feeling of it all.

Oh Jesus that episode of Doctor Who was a calamity. Davies attempts to rehab Kerblam and somehow makes it worse, tops it off with a mid-credits-stapled-on reveal that mostly leaves you groaning.

Keep an eye on this one…

I had been wondering for two seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise if @greatesttrek.com was gonna pull the trigger on a very specific musical bit, and they absolutely nailed it. One of the many reasons I put my faith (of the fart) in Ben and Adam.

Has it been a 24 hour day? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

At the point in my life where the anniversary of my dad’s death doesn’t totally wallop me for the day emotionally, which is both a sign of healing and also somewhat depressing simultaneously. Still miss him. Miss talking to him. Miss watching dumb movies with him. Been a weird, sad decade-plus.

A Chicago Pope implies the existence of an MLA Pope and APA Pope

I can't believe we have a Pope from Illinois. People from Chicago usually hate the Cardinals.

new pope! *crowd goes wild* American pope! *crowd boos* woke for an American! *crowd goes wild* bad on protecting abusive priests! *crowd boos* hates JD Vance! *crowd goes wild*

The joys of a region-free blu-ray player

The Righteous Gemstones leaves TV true to itself and all of its foibles. A frustratingly brilliant and unexpectedly emotionally powerful piece of storytelling.

What I love about Andor is that it’s cheerful and puts me in an excellent mood about my life and the world around me.

The customs agents assigned to collecting this 100% movie tariff

if you'd like to see a wide re-release of Hundreds of Beavers in theaters this year, one night only, in thousands of cities — repost this. we've got some doubters.

It baffles me to inform you that Thunderbolts* is not only good but resembles a real-ass movie in ways these things haven’t in a long, long time.

Easy answer, and I’ll give you four from the same band:
